Leopard Skin
You laid me down on leopard skin And spotted me with kisses Your hands pawed my soul And then I let you in. Whiskers twitching against each breast You fondled and mauled, I mewed my desire As on my body I let you feast.
Uplifted
The dark day dawns Flecks of light Grace my eyes, I wake from the mire Needing to be uplifted.
The world is outside.
Smiles begat smiles Nods and waves Hello’s and cheerio’s Neighbours and friends Long walks Short talks Hugs and kisses.
The world is inside.
Dropping with shopping Home and tea.
Switch on Log on. Messages and mails LOL’s and smiley faces.
Day turns to dusk The sun may fade But in my heart I am uplifted.
