Free Choice or Free Will
Hi Brian
You mentioned in one of your emails that I might be determinist. I was interested in your observation when you said that those of this ilk believe in free choice/will but not necessarily in punishment.
I am quite displaced with this as I believe our discussion about freedom and rights is in an eye of a storm. With freedom comes responsibility and with responsibility comes consequences. I do strongly believe in cause and effect though. To compromise this simple law means disaster. I believe like a computer is programmed by humans we are programmed by another intelligence that itself is flawed otherwise why would so much chaos be around? But this 'wizard of Oz' type omnipotent force is constantly de-fragging.
I am a sort of an atheist but I do believe life has a purpose of infinite power, we are only beginning to see through the confusion. Those who are visual about this will 'see' it through perception. It will involve choices. It will turn all we considered as fundamental knowledge and laws on its head.
The computer engineer has 'set up' the machine to work out solutions but at some stage it will fail and need more programming. I think that there are those perceptive enough to realise that we are all 'updated' through mind communication. How can I describe it? There are two hemispheres of the brain one I believe mechanises the visual perception and the other motor vocal. One absorbs the data the other assumes control. Yet, opposite hemispheres control the other side of the body. It is the visual matching that coordinates both halves of the brain. All of us have some stronger left's and right's i.e some are better with physical dexterity than others who have more mental cognitive skills. This is all organised through the brain with different assimilation of stimuli. We all respond differently but the base mechanics are all the same. My point is it is a complimentary system that sometimes gets it wrong and transmissions get jammed. That is why we fall over the curb of our words. But there is a distinct division between the two parts of the brain. They have very different functions but reside side by side working the opposite side of the body! This is a complex neurological phenomena.
All I believe is that our parapsychical and paraphysical mind does the same with both the subconscious and the conscious. The mind responds to a different kind of stimuli not associated with our mental faculties. This is nothing to do with psychology or behaviour. It is our spiritual persona that has its own volition. I think while we are aware we do not understand this power that we all possess. It is unbidden by us and viewed with much suspicion as some caprice of our eccentric notions. Yet it is this 'will' that has predetermined a primary purpose for our destiny. We think we make up our own minds but I think it's much bigger than that! Human intention is only a very small part of our spirituality.
The forces at work couple with others to single out a joint motive that is from another dimension so mighty and full of dynamics that we are merely chesspieces. I believe we are facilitated in a direction to be instrumental in a necessary cause that has little to do with the God of the Bible. The kingdom of God is within all of us. The God of the Bible has disenfranchised us!
Sounds a bit like I am passing the buck here but soon all those who are left on the chessboard will be put to good use. This 'will' or metaphysical force that is within us will surface and assume power over all our affairs via a global acknowledgement. No sheep or goats scenario. Those who assume this power will enact it. There will be those who will be left behind but only to be re-educated. There will be a hierarchy of people to be elected 'princes of the earth' but for the good of all. All can attain this enviable position.
I will be in the pub if they want me.
