What to do about asylum seekers?
How about this? Change International law and the constitutional bill of rights first.
Why? Because it is self-contradictory and open to abuse. Think about the how impotent it is. Isn't it the first amendment that states that "all men are equal and born free"? Not if they live in Afghanistan or Iraq they are not. Not if they are Kurd or Macedonian at the moment. The bit that reads that all men and women should be free to worship and choose their creed in accordance with there basic human rights falls into holes when your government runs the country under Islamic law or you are 'ethnically cleansed' or discriminated against by your own government and its leadership. The law is an ass. The criteria threatens human liberty not upholds it. The second amendment should read.
"All men should be born free and equal. To follow Islam, Jehovah's Witnesses, The Church of Christ, the Koran or Communism only if all basic human rights are respected by all individuals."
It's not going to happen, unless Amnesty International runs the United Nations!
I believe that we need to look at terrorised victims of torture and brutality and go to the source of the problem. I believe we can cope with limited numbers of bona fide refugees. Well, if I was under threat from being imprisoned for being a conscientious objector by Tony Blair or fled from Belfast with my child because of threats to her life on the way to school is one thing! But could I expect to just walk into another country after paying criminal gangs thousand of pounds to get me there and get free housing and education?
We bask in the satisfaction that we are a non-racist and compassionate country. But we offer priority to strangers whatever their plight and ignore those taxpayers who are native to our country who have to wait for emergency treatment in hospital corridors. We have a population of homeless and those below the poverty line that watch scenarios in Glasgow (Site hill?) where twenty six different nationalities occupy a derelict set of tower-blocks that were condemned for years and suddenly revamped with white goods and carpeting? Unemployed or redundant professionals that because of the left-wing politics in this country have to take a back seat to asylum seekers with the same qualifications simply because it would mean denying the rights of those who come to us for safety in the first place.
We wonder why we have flourishing party like the BNP getting more votes than ever before? Do we want that? Do we want a bunch of Nazis running this country. Well by our own folly it will happen.

Particularly we must blame the Bush administration for causing its defiance of International co-operation at Genoa and the Kyoto agreement. If it 'goes it alone ' when they want the rest of the world to co-operate with them and even their own countrymen they will alienate them. No heroes came back from 'Nam' did they? Selling arms to the Middle East for cheap oil will always cause tension and US haters that are volatile towards them. Supplying arms to countries that send us asylum seekers in return is hypocritical isn't it? It will only feed that tension amongst people who have no respect for democratic values and are not happy unless they violate basic human rights. I refer to all those countries whose population fill our towns and cities out of terror for their lives. The Yanks must expect trouble if they do not play ball. Look at the Cold war, Cuban crisis, Vietnam, Cambodia. They will suffer for their arrogance. History will repeat itself and like the Oklahoma bombing and such threats may inevitably come again from within very soon. Asymmetrical warfare will spread like cancer. Everybody denounces Australia for refusing entry (at least for the time being) when a giant crippled ferry full of stowaway (maybe illegal) immigrants languishes off Christmas Island expecting to be embraced as new citizens of Oz. I am confused. I thought providing safe haven for those in fear of their lives is one thing, but having an entire exodus from not just one country but dozens descend on you numbering many thousands (80,000 in this country alone, last year. The population of Milton Keynes!) who, not only come here for a little safety but then proceed to set up home, get a job ( or go on the 'jam-roll') raise families and put their roots down! This is unacceptable. Leftists argue about their 'contribution' and the cultural enrichment of our society. This will not happen because it is
the taxpayer who are British citizens that (colour or creed is irrelevant) will start to feel that every time a war breaks out or there is a coup de tat, or uprising in the ‘arsehole’ of the world that they will have to turn their country into a giant 'waiting room') costing telephone numbers of their money to pay for it.
No, it's morally wrong to take in waifs and strays just because we are a soft touch. Over thirty years of The Northern Ireland troubles and our wages to pay for a military presence there, have made us fair game for handouts and freebies. We are not addressing the real problem we are only exacerbating it. We are a 'patsy' for the other countries mistakes. We are paying for the irresponsibility of governments who would never return the favour.
How could our care for asylum seekers please everyone?

My view is that all these unfortunate people, bogus or otherwise should be granted a visa and work permit for one year. Then deported back to their country. In the meantime if International Law is being broken and the International human rights treaty ignored by the aggressors then their regime be halted by whatever means and Marshall law and peacekeeping forces as is already happening.
Yet you cannot police a country indefinitely or until they get their act together. It's invasive and disrespectful too. But you could get existing military forces and the Police there to take charge of their own affairs with our backup. Based on International law. Neighbouring sympathisers countries can be drafted in. Expecting the UN to cope is not an option, but they can mobilise other troops and forces and delegate organisation. Working to a deadline to help to stabilise the country.
The West would not think twice about prosecuting Osama, Saddam and Alquida for 911, and Slobodan for atrocities. BUT we all knew of previous years of oppression and abuse of men women and children in the Middle East. Public executions and barbarism.
Islam fanaticism is violating basic human rights and should be treated the same as any other dangerous cult that gets out of hand. Military force should be used! Waco, the Tokyo underground gas incident or Charles Manson was forced to stop the threat to human life because of religious extremism and likewise the International community and Nato should mobilise against such extremism on humanitarian grounds.
Jehovah's Witnesses allow their children to be psychological abused and deny them blood transfusions. Direct violation of human rights but they still enjoy a so-called 'freedom of worship". Tell me at what point freedom of worship over rule human rights. It's contradictory. The Watchtower society once believed organ transplants were 'cannibalism' but in 1982 switched their doctrine on it and now 'allow' this lifesaving care. What about the historic deaths of countless people who died in agony because they were told by their religious leaders to refuse a kidney or heart transplant prior to this?
Asylum seekers. How we can really help them?
Next, find out who of the refugees have skills and who do not. Use recruitment agencies and manpower services translators to find work for the visitors a.s.a.p. House the refugees throughout the UK on a resource availability basis. In other words allocate housing according to resources in designated areas. It should balance the dispersal. Head count per amenities etc. For example Ten refugees per x1000 of the population, no more with all passports held. No claims of benefit should be permitted to visitors. Healthcare only subsidised by International funds.
After a year, passports are returned and safe passage paid for by the above funds. The British taxpayer should not be responsible for this debt. They have 'paid' in goodwill already. Do you pay your lodgers rent for him? Return to our country not permissible for five years and then only as a tourist. Asylum seekers who marry a Brit or have a child by a Brit will be accepted into this country paid for by the contenders through the court system and at the discretion of the magistrate but with provisos.
We offer them safe haven under the above conditions but any contravention of 'house rules' would mean instant deportation. Integration is for one year only.
Wealthier countries would be liable for larger induction by proxy.
Here is another idea.
Alternatively, I went to the Greek islands and noticed over a thousand beautiful islands in the Aegean sea. All had unfinished holiday accommodation and half-built villas dotted about. It's a lot nearer to Afghanistan and nice weather. All the world's governments could pay the Greek government shit-loads of money to finish a massive construction program. The Asylum seekers could jump on a ferry for about 14 thousand drachma from Turkey and walk back when things have calmed down a bit. We Brits love it there and have to pay for the privilege one week at a time. Remember we are an island too and love to see tourists of all nations. Why? That's because they contribute something (money) and we know they are not staying forever!
Why is Tony Blair so keen for asylum when he belongs in one? Simply, just to justify his own inflated budgets and to get revenue from other countries. But that is just a smokescreen. Ultimately its oil. The reliance on the coalition to take over oil trade by the West from the Middle east to control oil prices.
The ill prepared detention centre program proves that no thought this through and that any standing asylum policy is faltering badly. But if you have no refugee fallout you have no excuse for war. It's this government looking for an axe to grind. 911 gave them what they needed. Democracy be fucked!
Australia don't want asylum seekers and look how much physical room they have? Oz is thirty times bigger than the UK. That means if a dustbin lid was our country in comparison to my back garden as Australia. Only one person can stand on a dustbin lid but 120 people can stand on my lawn! Mind you if they treat this lot like they do the Aboriginal they may as well jump off that fucking great boat and bloody swim back where they come from!!! Well, this is my point. We are all indigenous groups whatever our colour. To integrate one group you have to disintegrate another. Mixed cultures are fine in liberal utopian fantasy but in the real world it creates tension. Racial tension. You will never get Catholics and Protestants to live together as you will never get Muslims and Christians. You cannot put Atheists and Born again Christians together to work in harmony. Communists and democrats will end in tears and so on. Recipe for disaster. Plans may go ahead to build and all Muslim school in Peterborough or an all Jewish state school in Notting Hill but our base community will see this as discriminatory. It simply doesn't work. Cultural integration strips identity and when that happens the need for groups to start their own schools makes it clear at some stage it is totally unnatural to mix as one inseparable community. This goes against all anti-discrimination philosophy but proves that all cultures cannot fully integrate. From the arrival of the white man to North America we have disrupted indigenous groups and nearly destroyed them. What is the difference with immigration in this country. The best you can hope for is interaction and tolerance depending on where you live.
Racial tolerance is only anther phrase for "putting up with"
"Tolerance is defined" Constraint, limit, DEMARCATION … That unfortunate term was manufactured by the so called liberals but by inference describes or to imply a 'threshold' or kerbstone to our 'liberality!' Should it be called Racial acceptance instead? But you cannot ensure that from the most liberal of lefties because they stand for principles from a deluded ideal. We should help all the weaker of society but not to the expense of perspective and realism.
There are only four hundred indigenous groups in the world. With western religious indoctrination many cultures have been diluted and disowned and browbeaten. Lost their identity. Depressed by their dependence to survive by the charity of host societies. Integration means having to live by the values of others. Have you seen "East to East"?
Some of the most depressed areas in our towns and cities are so because we have a multiracial communities that find it difficult to live with white values. Who feel discriminated against by all races. It's not about colour. It's about being in a city where one culture dominates another even when all efforts to accept other cultures means you HAVE to accept. By having to accept anything does not bond you it binds you. If I am told to accept through whatever influence or duty of my own I immediately paint my border where I feel safe or non-threatened subconsciously. We all draw our own touchline whoever we are.
Liberty givers versus liberty takers because all lines are crossed at some stage. The boundaries though may be clearly defined within but as a community of individuals they become blurred. Cross over. Nobody knows where they stand. Cultures erode and people become threatened. It's human nature.
Every war fought has been because of racial tension. Every conflict because of man's inability to accept the creed of another. Yes of course it wrong but while we have free will that is what is going to happen. That's why extremism works for some people. It's their own fear of being compromised by others that cause them to prefer a totalitarian regime.
Fear of losing identity means to use fear to keep it.
Why we threaten ourselves?
For instance, Easter Island was one a thriving native community until the first English sailors arrived and introduced venereal disease!
Indigenous peoples include English people don't they? Black or white.
The crux is this. If you bail out other countries all the time because of their own tyranny then you excuse and condone it. If truancy from a country means better options and free healthcare then lets all move to Hollywood! It's easy to run away from a problem or throw money at it but do we help a nation by taking the problem away? No. It's produces more problems. Look at Northern Ireland. Look at the Vietnam conflict.

How our do our own indigenous people feel when visitors get more freebies than those who have paid tax all their working lives. I beg to differ about all asylum seekers being in fear of their lives. Underground masterminds are ferrying hundreds over illegally for huge fees. These traffickers are charging £1000's each.
Years ago an asylum seeker was a political prisoner or diplomat. Now it's a just a free for all.
It's all so unrealistic. All the so-called supporters of asylum obviously would call this unmitigated bigotry. Well, that's easy when they don't live in a council rum tenement with new neighbours who get free white goods and carpeted throughout! I expect they don't have three generations of Kurdish refugees living above their five-bedder in Surrey. We cannot be everybody's Huckleberry. These governmental actions will cause racial tension. They are the reason for 'white flight'. Yes, we are being ethnically cleansed in this country by moving to get out of the inner cities. Why? Go figure. Huge housing estates scampering across the outskirts of our towns. Have you been to Spain and seen the mass exodus of ex-pats devouring the Costa Blanca landscape? Germans and French too.
This is the ludicrous irony. Places like previous war-torn countries like Croatia have now become holiday resorts for Western holiday makers and already teeming with potential holiday/retirement properties for the taking. So Serbs and Croats that now live in the UK are making space in their own for the Brits. What is going on?
I'm not saying we have to remain insular. But its not about ignoring the plight of others. Its about helping other countries rehabilitate without aggression or interference. Americans in Iraq after Saddam has proved that military might does not solve the deeper problem.
That we cannot live their lives for them. We cannot pick up their pieces for them. We cannot afford their problems. We cannot and must not rescue them from their own culture. That removing one Saddam will give rise to ten more.
Making your home here because you were born here is one thing. Living here because you don't like your country and paying your way is fine too. Many families want to switch cultures through a change of religion. They get married and take jobs here. Great. No problem with that. But to bring hordes of potentially permanent residents here who cannot speak English but know all the loopholes inside out to buck our system is morally wrong. There is no such thing as a free lunch.
If this smacks of racism then if it is racist to just want my country to stop taking responsibility for everybody and their Mother then I must be one fascist f*cker! By letting all those who are discriminated against to overwhelm our own resources and amenities. To open the floodgates then we openly encourage racism. This deluge of people will give rise to discrimination and racist attacks. The cracks are already appearing. This country has fires already burning in its backyard. Violence and crime. Drug abuse and environmental problems. We are a very crowded island and we cannot even look after those living on it now.
We live in a multi racial society here. I embrace that as long as the people who already live here do not have their own rights and liberties compromised. The Raj and the old Empire is long gone and good riddance. But I wish we still had a pride in this country and sense of proper perspective with this sort of thing. In the last two wars we sent our kids away to stop tyranny. We literally fought our own battles and went without food and homes for years to do it. The men and women fought for the freedom and rights of this country and the people in it. We did not run away from our problems. The French and Russian revolution proved that to fight for your rights and your country means something. Did those lads at the Somme run from their duty? (I sound like a right old bastard now!) We have become as soft as shite and a pile of pennies pushover for swarms of parasites.
A number of 'asylum seekers' are middle class people who could afford up to thirty thousand pounds to give to unscrupulous gangs to come here. Believe me safety is as attractive as better prospects too. Those people who die in lorries and smuggled here? I am truly sorry for that. Again a symptom of the world's portrayal of this country as a 'charity shop' for the rest of the world. Fleeing for your lives does not mean you have to cross the whole of Europe and get to Calais and be prepared to paddle a lilo across the channel. Why migrate this far? Isn't France or Spain or Portugal safe enough for them??? They must be laughing all the way to get their Giro! If I have three generations of immigrants live next to me for free, I shall stop paying my mortgage and learn Croatian!!!
The general feeling is that this country should be everything to everybody simply so we cannot be accused of being racist. Well I would rather spend money on fair treatment of the elderly and the weak of our own society than throw money at outsiders who dump us with more hassle. I know waiting for a plastic hip or getting a foster parent is not as threatening as being beheaded but where do our priorities lie? You cannot take money from those already in want or need to protect outsiders in the same situation unless it discriminates somehow? Our right is to protect our own patriots first surely? If I thought my family was being jumped in the queue by an asylum seeker in any sphere of life ( I saw this happen in the surgery in town, when asylum seekers insisted on pushing in front of me at a doctors surgery) I will choose to exact my right to discriminate on a matter of principle. I love this country and have done all the courses on anti-discriminatory practice laid down by local government. I have not damaged this country like this government has past and present. I pay my taxes and law abide. I resent politicians dictating to me what I should and should not do to avoid being prejudice when by example they are the very perpetrators of the problem. It has nothing to do with colour or culture it has to do with protecting your family and not denying the rights of one group by robbing the rights of another group.
The Bible says you cannot please two masters. I say, you cannot ride two horses with one arse either!
